The Wedding Luncheon

The Bridal Bar had the privilege this month to take part in the national Wedding Luncheon as part of the The Special Event Trade Show. The show takes place in a different city each year and this year was held in Los Angeles. The Wedding Luncheon as the centerpiece for the conference, featured the premiere event professionals in Los Angeles and showcased their works to the international event community. Our very own Linda Pittelli, owner of Eventful and Marianne Weiman-Nelson of Special Occasions were keynote speakers at the luncheon along with Mindy Weiss.

Not only was Linda Pittelli a speaker at the 650 guest lunch, but her company in association with Eden Rodriguez at End Design created two breathtaking tablescapes that represent the new trends in event decor.
The first of the two designs feature a giant gold tree stemming from the center of the square table covered in a custom linen from Eventful's new custom linen division. Also featured are mini cakes from Fantasy Frostings atop hand painted china also from Eventful's collection.

The second creation was designed in Eventful's signature gold and cream color palette and featured a mirror wall, chandelier hanging from a mirror, beautiful hydrangea and orchid florals created by End Design and again china, decor, design and accessories by Eventful.

Eventful's work in collaboration with End Design, Classic Party Rentals, Fantasy Frostings, and many others can now be appreciated by brides across the globe as industry leaders take these designs back to their home towns.

A third portion of the luncheon featured a room of celebrity cake artists, and two of our own, Cake Crumbs and Fantasy Frostings were highlighted along with Layers Cake Design Studio and The Cake Studio of Orange County.

Take a look at what Cake Crumbs showcased as the up and coming trend in wedding sweets...

Where as Fantasy Frostings opted for more traditional, romantic interpretations of today's trend-setting bride.

The best part about all of these amazing works of art? You can have them all for your dream wedding!! Don't forget to check out all the designers' and contributors' websites for more information to create your fantasy day.

And thanks to Mike Colon for providing the photos from the wedding luncheon.

And lastly a BIG thanks to Gus Galanis at Classic Party Rentals and Kitty Silbereich at Someone's in the Kitchen for organizing and producing such a fantastic event and show and for letting The Bridal Bar be a small part of that!
