Get Married has just announced that event and lifestyle style guru Colin Cowie is the new host of the show! OMG so excited to work with him and see all the brilliance that he shares with the audience. The season starts Jan. 5th so you can bet that this office will up early to see his big debut! Colin will also be sharing his new book, Wedding Chic, blogging, chatting with brides, and who knows what else! Can't wait! It doesn't get much better than this...
That's right, two of our favorite tv folks said I Do last month (and of course came by The Bridal Bar before hand for some inside scoop on hot vendors and resources).
Kaitlin Olson and Rob McElhenney met on the set of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and recently wed at a very sunny ceremony at Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu.
With the help of the amazingly talented Lisa G from Details Event Planning, their decor was to die for! And the photos from the fab Red Loft Studios are equally as beautiful. The yummy, yummy cake was created by the fabulous Fantasy Frostings. Well done and congrats to the newlyweds!

Congratulations to Jenna Bush and Henry Hager for their not-so White House wedding this past weekend. The couple got married on the family ranch in Crawford, Texas - overlooking the lake at sunset.
We are just loving their organic style, their down-to-earth vibe, and natural event. Check out the released photos (for those of you who haven't already seen them...)

Kim at Papeterie is sharing with us her newest invitation - a second round of shower invites for a second shower for Jessica Alba. Hummm...two showers with similar invitations? Could it be twins? Congrats Jessica and congrats Kim on a fab eco-friendly invite (the invite has seeds in the paper and is meant to be planted instead of tossed!)

The lovely ladies of The Girls Next Door stopped by for some fun, filming, cake tasting, wedding planning, and gown shopping. They were SO wonderful!! The girls really are as sweet as you see on tv!

We've been a little behind on congratulating and giving kudos to our rock star wedding professionals, so just 48 hours after another celebrity wedding, we thought we would recap some highlights...
First of all, a HUGE congratulations to Eddie and his team over at Tic Tock Couture Florals for producing what we heard were some insane florals and decor for American Idol's Katherine McPhee's wedding on Saturday! Congrats to the happy couple!
Secondly, congrats to Chrissy and Aaron of Renaissance Studios for their feature on Fox 11 News! The show covered their baby division, capturing moments as your kids grow up. Already in the nesting phase?? You've got to check them out, watch the clip here!

Congratulations to Ioan Gruffudd and Alice Evans on their wedding this past weekend at the One and Only Palmilla in Cabo San Lucas. Once again famed photographer Robert Evans was on hand to capture every moment. Ioan, best-known for his starring roles in the Fantastic Four movies, is now starring in his biggest role yet, brand new hubby! Congrats!
To liven up the mood we thought we would say congrats to Kate Walsh and new hubby Alex Young for their recent nuptials (covered this week in OK Magazine.
And another congrats to our very own Fantasy Frostings who made the absolutely beautiful (and huge) red velvet wedding cake for the happy couple. The ladies trekked up to Ojai in 100 degree weather for the wedding...not even a power failure at the hotel was going to stop this celebration!
