Bride Wars

This weekend marks the release of Bride Wars, the fun wedding flick starring Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway. The movie is cute, a bit as you might expect, but a good release from the craze of wedding planning. And in honor of the film's debut, Hollywood.com decided to share the top ten bridezillas of the silver and small screens. Take a look back...

1. Uma Thurman, Kill Bill
2. Helena Bonham Carter, Corpse Bride
3. Julia Roberts, Runaway Bride
4. Cameron Diaz, Very Bad Things
5. Rosemarie DeWitt, Rachel Getting Married
6. Jennifer Lopez, Monster-in-Law
7. Kimberly Williams, Father of the Bride
8. Alyson Hannigan, How I Met Your Mother
9. Julie Benz, Dexter
10. Toni Collette, Muriel's Wedding
So how big of a bridezilla are you?

I like to think of myself as the groom version of Bridezilla. A.K.A. the Grumpy Groom. I would rate myself somewhere between a 6-9 on the meltdown meter, depending on the day. Worst meltdown to date was over a $35 shirt that my fiancee THOUGHT about buying (she didn't actually purchase it :)

I'm 50/50. On the one hand I am TOTALLY bridezilla in that I want to be able to have total control over as many details as possible. I tell everyone, when you can't afford a lot of details, the ones you can should be a perfect as possible. On the other hand, I've made a real effort not to let my obsessiveness affect how I deal with those involved in our wedding. I've been super open to suggestion re: wedding party attire, time of day, and generally try not to force anyone to do anything... any help I've gotten has all been volunteered.
